The 2016 China Beverage Alcohol and Social Responsibility Conference (China SAO) was held in Maotai City on July 26, focusing on how to tackle underage drinking in the country. Government statistics indicate that more than one-quarter of children younger than 10 years old have consumed alcohol, along with 30% of middle school students and 52.5% of high school students.
